about

Ancestral Vision is a mixture of experimental death metal, doom metal and noise / industrial with atmospheric stuff in it.
Vocals and lyrics are written in ancient babylonian/accadian language, taken from the Enuma Elish text, the oldest story concerning the birth of the gods and the creation of the universe.
The title of the album, Akitu, is the ancient new year festival in Mesopotamia, where it was recited this poem.

The project is influenced by themes like ancient cultures, religions and prehistoric behaviours.
